La Michoacana Paleteria & Tortilleria in Illinois

"I got there 30 minutes after they closed, and the door was locked. (I didn’t realize they were closed I just pulled up in my car randomly one night) They saw me at the door and didn’t hesitate to open it and ask me what i wanted even though they were technically closed. I told them i was sorry and didn’t want to bother them if they were closed but they were so nice and said “don’t worry about it, what would you like” i got 3 ice cream bars to try and make it easy, and they were so delicious. These people are very nice and will go above and beyond for you! Thank you again"

"I'm being a bit generous with the review but I have to be honest, this is the best ice cream you can get in the area. And when I mean, " the area" I mean the immediate area if Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates, past that it gets pretty relative so to speak. But it's the best ice cream place in the neighborhood with a great selection. They have roasted chicken and tortillas for a great special. Anyone looking for a quick bite to eat, I highly recommend this place. The chicken is delicious and to be honest I don't really know about the rest of the reviews on here in reference to the customer service but most of the people that work here are pretty sweet(if not all of them) overall and tend to you pretty fast. They are a family business and deserve the support. God bless you guys."

"I would say really good things about this place. The food is excellent. They take there time to make it which I don't mind they cook it the way I like it. They take pride in there service. If you enjoy really great Mexican food this is the place to go. I highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly."

"Almost forgot to leave a review. Was just in town ans wanted something different that I couldn't get back home. No places like this by me. I will have to say. The icecream here is amazing. The pistachio was loaded in actual pistachios and the coconut omg...2 of my favorite icecreams and your is the best I've ever had. If there was a thousand stars I could rate this place you would have them maxed out. Trust me if I'm here again I'll be stopping in."

The food was straight-up delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and the customer service was great Like I always say: "If the corn isn't done well, nothing else is probably done well."
